Dr. John F. Morrison is a board-certified neurosurgeon and national leader in neurotrauma, cerebrovascular surgery, and complex brain and spine care. Known for his innovative surgical techniques and dedication to patient-centered care, Dr. Morrison brings a research-driven, compassionate approach to every aspect of his practice.
Dr. Morrison earned his medical degree and master’s in biomedical science from Creighton University. He completed a neurosurgery residency at Brown University and the University at Buffalo, with additional training at Boston University and the Lahey Clinic. He holds board certification from the American Board of Neurological Surgery and has completed the Surgical Leadership Program at Harvard Medical School.

As the founder of the Morrison Clinic in South Florida, Dr. Morrison provides advanced neurosurgical care across multiple office locations. He currently serves as Chief of Neurosurgery at Florida OrthoCare and holds academic appointments at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Morrison also serves underserved communities through Caridad Clinic and previously worked as a neurotrauma consultant for the NFL.
Recognized as a “Top Doctor” by multiple publications, including Palm Beach Illustrated, Boca Magazine, and Delray Magazine, Dr. Morrison is also known for his hands-on involvement in neurosurgical innovation, education, and patient advocacy.
